I am a life-long resident of Flint, Michigan and I am most known for my unwavering love for my city and quest to ensure that it’s a thriving community in years to come.

I am currently the program coordinator for Well of Hope, a non-profit organization focused on breaking the cycle of poverty. Through my role with Well of Hope, I created the annual "Blessed to be a Blessing" Thanksgiving dinner for less fortunate families in the area. I have an array of projects I have developed and contributed to but most recently, I have worked to secure funding for Well of Hope to build four free food pantries in the City of Flint. My other civic engagement includes serving for the following: Local Officers Compensation Commission, Community Foundation of Greater Flint Neighborhood Small Grants Committee, Voices For Children Breakfast Committee and secretary of NASW-Michigan.  I am also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

My favorite and most important job is being a mother, role-model and friend to my beautiful ten-year old daughter.

EDUCATION

I received a Bachelor of Social Work & Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint. I also hold a Master in Social Work from the University of Denver.

CAREER

I am currently employed as a Clinical Therapist offering virtual in-person sessions in Grand Blanc, MI. Mental health is dear to my heart and it is my life goal to break the stigma around mental illness and seeking mental health services.
